In a world where so much is uncertain, what a wonderful security there is in the assurance of God's presence.  The name "Immanuel" means "God with us " (Matthew 1:23)

   Psalm 145:18 tells us "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth."    What a blessed privilege is the presence of God . . .

 . . . For who can see into tomorrow and offer us counsel with perfect foresight?

. . . Who has designed and known us more intimately than God? . . . Our very thoughts He knows before we think them.    Our feelings He knows and understands more deeply than we know ourselves.

. . . Who can comprehend the extent of our gifts and abilities like God can, enabling Him to direct our path into a plan that will bring fulfillment and purpose?

. . . Who else has power to save us, heal us, deliver us?

He alone is Creator, Savior, Counselor, Lord and King.

The honor is high to know Him.   May we respond to James 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you",  abandoning anything that would cause us to forfeit such Glory.
