  Writing for Life Giver

This print comes with a prayer from the artist,  even as David asked of the Lord God in Psalm 90:16, "Let Your work appear to your servants O Lord, and Your majesty to their children."

In preparing for this drawing, the children who gathered to pose for a picture later to be painted around the theme of following Jesus, were to discover a sweetness of God's presence which came upon us.  Upon leaving the beach setting, one of the little girls remarked, "the man who was our Jesus, seemed so much like Jesus, I forgot he wasn't real" and tears streamed down her cheeks.  Another child said, "I know, the same thing happened to me", as her eyes welled up.  The first child continued with saying, "You know how you feel homesick when you miss your mother Mrs. Bosworth? That's how I feel inside..... it makes me want to go to heaven."

As we had asked the Lord that day before we began, to come and enable us to portray the joy of following Him. He had honored our prayer.... and He came..... and when He came,  joy came and so much more.

We were to discover a taste of Jesus, that left us with a longing within us for Him.

The Gospel of John expressed it this way:  John 1:4 "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.... and  John 1:14 "And The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory".....
