To witness within us, the working of His Spirit in giving
to us a Merry Heart . . . this is deeper joy.
In this drawing, the scripture "The joy of the Lord
is my strength" (Nehemia 8:10) was placed in the hem of
Christ' garment. It is at the feet of Jesus, that
we find true joy.
The children were chosen to represent the freedom God desires
for us. In them we see simplicity, honesty,
dependency and trust. The qualities which
enable us to experience the truly abundant life.
As the leaves break forth into dance in the breezes of
Autumn, So too, by the movement of God's Spirit, joy
breaks forth in us. It is more than just a feeling
. . . It is splendor.
Psalm 30:11 You turned my sorrow into
dancing. You removed my sack cloth and clothed me with
joy. |
