 About the Artist
It is an honor to share my artwork with you and to tell you a little about myself and where I live, why I do what I do and the questions we naturally wonder about.
I live in scenic rural Michigan with my husband and grown family. My studio and gallery is in Lake Odessa, Michigan; where you will find me when not at art shows across the country. At an early age I discovered my ability to draw, and have possessed a desire to develop my natural abilities. My strength has always been in portrait. While I have had no formal training, I have learned the value of observation and studying the designs, colors, and perspective of that which surrounds me.
The models in the pictures are friends, neighbors and family members. I chose people from various denominations, races and personalities to include people from various walks of life.  Being raised in the country and near the shores of Lake Michigan has exposed me to some beautiful designs of God. Fields of wheat, flowers and streams,  and children at play in trees and on beaches, have all prompted a sense of wonder and stirred my imagination. I have been blessed by all that God has made and created for us to enjoy. I love who He is and especially His merciful heart revealed by the giving of His Son, Christ Jesus as Savior... to whom I am forever grateful.
I hope you find our art selections and writings to be inspirational, encouraging, and relatable to your everyday life.
